Lead Carpenter

Job Summary:

Minimum five years’ experience in rough and finish carpentry and other areas of residential construction. The ideal candidate will able to manage job sites with employees and trade contractors. As the front line in achieving company goals, the lead carpenter must focus on product quality and customer satisfaction. Pay based on experience and capabilities.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to problem solve and troubleshoot
  • Knowledge of Construction Methods and various trades such as demolition, framing, basic Electric/Plumbing, underlayment, drywall hanging, taping and finishing, painting, flooring installation, finish carpentry (trim, case, base, shoe, crown, cabinet installation), proper tile installation, window, door and siding installation
  • Solve math problems quickly and accurately
  • Quality control experience and basic knowledge of applicable building codes
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with the Client, Manager, and Subcontractors throughout the job
  • Self-starter and independent worker with attention to detail


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead carpenter is completely responsible for the successful completion of the jobs given to them, which includes completing on time, on budget, and maintaining a high level of quality, safety, and professional communication. Carpenters work indoors and outdoors, sometimes in tight spaces and must be able to adapt to conditions and circumstances. They must be a team leader. Must be able to run multiple tasks at 1 time in a project. Someone that manages the carpenter helpers in the field. Be efficient in everything they do to stay on schedule and budget. They work with various hand tools and power tools. Must keep their tools and worksite in a clean, safe condition. Be able to work with the sales team and project manager on all the projects to create an amazing product. The Lead Carpenter may at times need to deal with customer requests, questions, and inquires in a polite and business-like manner.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 80 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment
  • Lead Safe Certification is a plus (not required)
  • Must have own basic carpentry tools. Additional tools a plus!
  • Hold a valid driver’s license

Service Technician

We are looking for a self-starter Field Service Technician.


Qualifications

  • Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment
  • Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills
  • Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job
  • Ability to work independently without much supervision
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces
  • Driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to effectively manage time

Receptionists

In the construction industry, receptionists act as the first point of contact for clients, sub-contractors and suppliers. As a receptionist, you’ll be at the forefront of the organization, greeting guests and contractors, and responding to phone and email enquiries. You’ll need excellent people skills to provide high-quality customer service.

Job Responsibilities

1. Front Desk: Answer phones, direct and screen callers, greet visitors, schedule appointments for Sales Reps. Sort mail and distribute daily; process internal shipping requests. Process mass mailings. Manage the master key box and log to ensure keys are tagged appropriately and the log updated daily.

2. File Management: Maintain Client Database with complete client contact information. Create new client file folders and electronic files, archive inactive files.

3. General Office Support: Maintain order and cleanliness of common spaces. Monitor kitchen and bathroom supplies and replenish daily.

Qualifications

Candidates will need to meet the following qualifications:

· Must possess a positive, "can do" attitude.

· Requires a high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to juggle shifting priorities and tasks in a fast-paced, client service-oriented environment.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office – Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
